Neutrality
[edit]Review of sources:
- ISI, the Pakistani intelligence agency. Uses the term "shahadat" (martyrdom).
- Dunya News, a Pakistani news channel founded and run by the Mayor of Lahore. Uses the term "martyred".
- The Nation, a Pakistani newspaper. Uses the term "martyred".
- The Express Tribune, a Pakistani newspaper accused of self-censorship. Uses the term "martyred".
- Geo News, a Pakistani news channel owned by Jang (lit. "War") Media Group. Uses the term "martyrs".
- ISI, the Pakistani intelligence agency. Uses the term "shadahat" (martyrdom).
- Pakistan Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
- Kashmir Media Service, focusing entirely on "Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir". Uses the term "martyred".
All 8 sources are Pakistani, and 7 of the 8 use the term "martyr". That makes me question this article's neutrality. JM (talk) 14:53, 8 May 2025 (UTC)
- I added new international sources, can we remove it now? - PunjabiEditor69 (talk) 21:11, 17 May 2025 (UTC)
- I've further edited the article: diff. The main contention you may have with this is that I've now inserted "Pakistan claimed" - but the reason I've done so is that this wording is taken directly from the international sources you yourself cited. (Keep in mind that calling something a "claim" does not mean something is false.) If you're fine with this, then I won't stop you from removing the neutrality template.
