It is a Wikipedia policy to simplify multiple inline citations. However, the notations such as 5:7 or 1 37-40 in the main part of the 20009 Isle of Man TT article and the mixture of styles are confusing to the casual reader and does not follow the main Wikipedia policy of the simplification of single and multiple citations.
