It's not immediately clear what the "Comfort" is in the title, considering that Comfort isn't even a city, it's an unincorporated community. ♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 19:18, 14 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Agree, 1987 Guadalupe River flood is the common name for this as shown in the cited sources, and it affected more than Comfort. The "1987 Guadalupe River Flood". NOAA's National Weather Service. October 2, 2019. is cited twice, attributed to US Department of Commerce, NOAA. It says the massive flood wave that traveled down the Guadalupe River through Ingram, Kerrville, and eventually Comfort, Texas.
