Syed Asad Kakakhail (Urdu: سیداسد کاکاخیل) is a Pakistani radio jocky and social activist from Attock, Punjab, Pakistan. He gained immense popularity through his special program “Azm-e-Aalishan”, a tribute to the martyrs and veterans of the Pakistan Armed Forces, Navy, Air Force, Rangers, and Police.[1] This program honoured the sacrifices of Army Public School martyrs,and national heroes, earning widespread recognition and appreciation.[2] In 2017, Asad set a national record by completing Most 51 sit ups in 60 seconds, which was appreciated and recognised by Pakistan Book of Records.[3]
Early life and education
[edit]Syed Asad Kakakhel was born on 20 March 1989 in Swabi, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to a Syed[disambiguation needed] family known as Kakakhel. He is the descended from Sayyid Kastir Gul, also known as "Kaka Sahib". He holds a bachelor's degree in law from Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan and a master's degree in Mass Communication from Virtual University of Pakistan.
Career
[edit]He is currently serving as the program and marketing manager at Radio Dabang FM 90.4 Attock. Asad is also a host on Discover Pakistan TV, where he highlights Pakistan’s culture, tourism, and social issues.[4][5] Previously, he has hosted several programs FM 99 Gilgit, and FM 99 Skardu.[6]
