Stella Udeze
Stella Udeze (born August 15, 1988) is a Nigerian actress known for her performances in Nollywood films including Before Getting Married, The Other Wife, and Ojoché. Active since 2013,[1] she has earned recognition for her versatility and screen presence.
Early life and education
[edit]Stella Chioma Agbarakwe aka Stella Udeze was born in Lagos State, Nigeria, to Mr. and Mrs. Agbarakwe Udeze, a Christian family from Orlu in Imo State, southeastern Nigeria. She is the second of six children. She attended Tenderfield Primary School and Emergency Comprehensive High School in Lagos. She later studied English Education at Imo State University.
Career
[edit]Udeze began her acting career in 2013 and took a brief break for further studies in management, returning in 2014.[1] She has appeared in numerous Nollywood productions, particularly romantic and family dramas.[2]

Ojoché was officially selected for the 13th Africa International Film Festival (AFRIFF) in 2024.[3]
Public image
[edit]In a 2017 interview with *Vanguard*, Udeze described herself as a “sensual woman” in relationships and discussed perceptions of actresses in Nigeria: > “Some actresses don’t seem to have happy relationship because of trust issues... In Nigeria, 80% of men feel that being an actress makes you a prostitute.”[1]
