Sowmaeh (Persian: صومعه)[a] is a village in Kalkhuran Rural District[4] of the Central District in Ardabil County, Ardabil province, Iran.

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 1,368 in 315 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 1,316 people in 366 households.[6] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 1,282 people in 382 households.[2]
