Shokhida Akhmedova (born 7 September 2001) is an Uzbek freestyle wrestler.
Career
[edit]Akhmedova competed in the women's 55 kg event at the 2023 World Wrestling Championships in Belgrade, Serbia, where she finished in 13th place.[1]
She won the silver medal in the 55 kg event at the 2021 Islamic Solidarity Games held in Konya, Turkey. Earlier, she had captured another silver medal in the 49 kg event at the 2018 Summer Youth Olympics in Buenos Aires, Argentina.[2]
In 2023, she won a bronze medal in the 53 kg category at the Asian U23 Wrestling Championships in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. As a cadet, she was runner-up at the 2018 Asian Cadet Championships.[3]
She also placed 5th at the 2020 Asian Wrestling Championships.
