The 13115 / 13116 Sealdah-Jalpaiguri Road Humsafar Express is a premium train service belonging to Eastern Railway zone that runs between Sealdah and Jalpaiguri Road in India on a weekly basis.[1][2] Inaugurated on 14 June 2025, this train became the first long-distance train to cross the Nashipur Rail Bridge.
Coach composition
[edit]The train runs with 21 Linke-Hoffman Busch coaches, consisting of Third AC (3A) and Sleeper (SL) classes. It has a single rake, which it shares with Sealdah - Jammu Tawi Humsafar Express. The primary maintenance of this train is executed at Sealdah.

This train stops twice at Ranaghat Junction, Krishnanagar City Junction and Berhampore Court stations in order to accommodate all coaches of its rake onto their short platforms. Passengers are advised to check the coach position indicator at the station before boarding.
Service
[edit]- The 13115 Sealdah - Jalpaiguri Road Humsafar Express leaves Sealdah at 23:40 hrs every Friday and reaches Jalpaiguri Road the next day at 12:00 hrs. It takes 12 hours and 20 minutes to complete its journey, averaging at 48 km/h (30 mph).
- The 13116 Jalpaiguri Road – Sealdah Humsafar Express leaves Jalpaiguri Road at 20:30 hrs every Saturday and reaches Sealdah the next day at 08:10 hrs. It takes 11 hours and 40 minutes to complete its return journey, averaging at 50 km/h (31 mph).
