Saeed Borji (Persian: سعید برجی;‎ 1958 – 14 June 2025) was a nuclear physicist and nuclear engineer from Iran.

Biography

Born in 1958 in Abadan,[1] he is the founder of the Petrochemical companies Azar Afrouz Saeed Engineering Company and Arvin Kimia Abzar.[2]

He graduated with a PhD in mechanical engineering from Malek Ashtar University.[3]

Borji participated in Iran's nuclear program from 1980 until his assassination.[3]

Death

He was one of the targets of the Israeli bombings in Iran for being a nuclear engineer on June 14, 2025 in Tehran.[4][5][6][7]
