Rima Rahbani

Rima Assi Rahbani (born 1965) is a Lebanese filmmaker and writer. Among her most notable works is the documentary film Kant Hekaya (It Was a Story), which explores the lives of her parents and was produced to commemorate the 23rd anniversary of her father's passing. She also directed another film titled Tahiya (Tribute).[1][2]
Family
[edit]Rima Assi Rahbani belongs to a prominent artistic family. Her mother is the renowned singer Fairuz, and her father was the late artist Assi Rahbani. She is the younger sister of musician Ziad Rahbani, as well as Hali and Layal Rahbani. Her uncles include the late artist Mansour Rahbani and Elias Rahbani, while her aunt is the artist Huda Haddad.[3]
