Ravi Foods Private Limited is an Indian food manufacturing company headquartered in Hyderabad, India.[1] Established in 1988 by Ravinder Kumar Agarwal. The company generated a revenue of Rs. 1,180 crore[2] for the financial year ending on March 31, 2024.[3][4][5]
Fire Incident
[edit]A major fire broke out at a prominent Ravi Foods biscuit factory in the Kattedan industrial area early on a Thursday, leaving the unit severely damaged. The fire, which started around 5 AM, was brought under control after nearly 14 hours, by 6:30 PM. A large quantity of stock and machinery was gutted in the incident.[6][7]
Controversies
[edit]On November 15, 2018, Income Tax officials conducted raids on the offices of Ravi Foods Private Limited in Hyderabad, along with DSA Builders and Constructions Company and Shanta Sriram Constructions.[8] The search operations extended to the residences of Ravi Foods' directors, including Ravinder Kumar Agarwal, Rajendra Kumar Agarwal, and Kedarnath Agarwal, as well as Shanta Sriram MD M. Narsaiah.[9][10][11]
