Prosačov (Hungarian: Porszács) is a village and municipality in Vranov nad Topľou District in the Prešov Region of eastern Slovakia.
History
[edit]In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1363.[citation needed]
Demographics
[edit]The majority of the municipality's population consists of the members of the local Roma community. In 2019, they constituted an estimated 70% of the population.[4]
Geography
[edit]The municipality lies at an altitude of 190 metres and covers an area of 4.280 km². It has a population of about 201 people.
