Pichling is a district of Linz, Upper Austria, south of the Traun River.

Pichling is located in the cadastral communities of Pichling, Posch, and part of Ufer. The cadastral community of Pichling is only about half the size of the district of the same name although it covers a wide area in the southwest.[citation needed]

Geography

[edit]

The district of Pichling borders on the district of Ebelsberg in the southwest, on the industrial area-harbour in the northwest and, in a short section, on Kleinmünchen-Auwiesen in the west[2]. Neighboring communities are Sankt Florian to the south, Asten to the southeast, Luftenberg to the east and Steyregg to the north[3].
