Description

[edit]

When young, the fruit bodies have a slimy veil.[1] The sticky reddish caps measure 3–6 cm (1+142+14 in) in diameter. The tannish gills are close. The stipe is up to 7 cm (2+34 in) long[1] and bears a gelatinous ring.[2] The spore print is brown.[1]
