People's Republican Union (French: Union Républicaine du Peuple) was a political party in Benin led by Michel Toko. URP was legally recognized on October 10, 1990. The party contested the 1991 parliamentary election in coalition with the National Labour Party winning one seat and 2% of the vote.[1]
