"OK" is a song by the American singer Katy Perry from the deluxe edition of her seventh studio album, 143 (2024). An anthemic pop song, it was released on December 20, 2024, as part of the deluxe edition of the album, titled 1432. This featured four additional tracks, including "OK", which was later promoted as the album's fourth single in Italy.

Release and composition

"OK" was included as one of the new tracks in 1432, the deluxe edition of Katy Perry's 2024 album 143. The release was announced by Perry on social media on the day of release, December 20, 2024, with a message incorporating the deluxe track titles into it: "1432 is here, OK!"[1] On the same day, the song was distributed to Italian radio as a single.[2][3] This marked Perry's first collaboration with Dr. Luke since his highly publicized legal battles with singer Kesha, drawing criticism from fans and commentators.[4]

"OK" is a mid-tempo[5] anthemic pop[5] song with an acoustic guitar intro and electronic production, showcasing Perry's trademark vocal style over a polished instrumental backdrop. Lyrically, the song addresses themes of self-reliance and resilience.[6][7][8][9]

Rodrigo Garcinuño from Cadena 100 found the song's chorus motivating, and called OK "a perfect song to start the [new year 2025] thanks to its message of hope and its hymn to self-confidence."[9]
