Geography
[edit]North Side is one of the fourteen districts of Anguilla, a British Overseas Territory in the Caribbean.[2][3] It is located along Anguilla’s northeastern coastline, featuring flat, low-lying limestone terrain typical of the island’s geology. The region is characterized by a dry tropical climate, with rocky terrain showing little elevation, dense vegetation in the interior, and sandy beaches along the coast.[3][4] The rocky cliffs along the coast and hillocks support a variety of wildlife including seabirds and songbirds.[4]

North Side had population of 1,577 individuals in 2011, a 32% increase from the population of 1,195 in 2011, the second-highest among districts.[1][5] The economy is tourism-driven with fishing and small-scale agriculture also pervalent.[6]
The villages are simpler with limited infrastructure and the culture is steeped in Anguillan traditions.[4] Small eateries and food stalls sell traditional dishes, mostly based on freshly caught seafood. With a tourism driven economy, multiple offerings of lodgings are located in the region, mostly by the seaside.[4]
