Nodoka Yamamoto (山本和佳 (Yamamoto Nodoka), born 20 June 2002) is a Japanese freestyle wrestler competing in the 76 kg weight class.[1]
Career
[edit]She won the bronze medal in the women's 76 kg event at the 2025 Asian Wrestling Championships held in Amman, Jordan.[2]
In 2024, Yamamoto earned a bronze medal at the 2024 U23 World Wrestling Championships in Tirana. She had previously taken bronze at the 2019 World Cadet Wrestling Championships and gold at the 2022 Asian Junior Wrestling Championships.[3]
She placed 7th at the 2022 Asian Games and finished 6th at the 2022 Wrestling World Cup – Women's freestyle.[4]
