Nicu Samuel Ojog (born 1 January 1998) is a Romanian Greco-Roman wrestler who competes in the 87 kg weight class. He is a silver medalist at the 2022 European Wrestling Championships and a multi-time medalist at age-group international events.[1]

Career

Ojog competed in the men's Greco-Roman 87 kg event at the 2022 European Wrestling Championships in Budapest, Hungary. He reached the final but lost to Turpal Bisultanov of Denmark by technical superiority (8–0), earning the silver medal.[2][3]

In previous years, he earned bronze medals at the Grand Prix Zagreb Open in 2018 (82 kg) and 2022 (87 kg), as well as at the 2018 Dan Kolov & Nikola Petrov Tournament in Sofia. He also won silver medals in the 82 kg category at the 2018 U23 World Wrestling Championships in Bucharest and the 2018 European Junior Wrestling Championships in Rome.
