Nick Santucci is an American politician. A member of the Republican Party, he represents the 64th district of the Ohio House of Representatives.[3]
Career
[edit]Outside of his Elected Governmental position, Santucci is the Senior Consultant for Workforce and Community Engagement at VAZA Consulting. Prior to joining VAZA Consulting, he held the position of Director of Government Affairs and Workforce Development at the Educational Service Center of Eastern Ohio. There, he managed government relations and collaborated with educational departments at both the state and federal levels to advocate for regional educational priorities. He previously served as Director of Government and Public Affairs at the Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber, where he directed the Chamber’s Government Affairs Council and organized events such as the Columbus Drive-In and Washington D.C. Fly-In. These initiatives earned the Chamber the Ohio Economic Development Association’s 2019 Marketing and Communication Award.
Santucci also served as the Chamber’s Director of Education and Workforce Development. In this capacity, he led the JobsNow program, developed business-education partnerships, and hosted industry roundtables to address workforce challenges. He played a key role in launching the Community Connectors program, which prepared students for employment and was recognized by the Ohio Department of Education.
His policy involvement includes service on the Ohio Chamber of Commerce Workforce Development Committee, where he contributed to statewide workforce strategies in coordination with the Ohio General Assembly and the Governor’s Office of Workforce Transformation. He has also served on various boards, including the Howland Alumni Association, the Eastern Ohio Education Partnership, and the United Way of the Mahoning Valley’s Success After Six initiative. In 2019, he was appointed to the Governing Board of the Valley STEM+ME2 Academy.
Santucci earned a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from John Carroll University, where he participated in civic education initiatives such as the “We, The People” program. His early career includes internships with members of the U.S. Congress, participation in a presidential campaign, and employment with the Trumbull County Commissioners’ Office.[4]
Electoral History
[edit]Santucci was elected to serve the 64th district in 2022. He was re-elected in 2024 with 56% of the vote. In 2025, he was selected as the house Majority Whip for the 136th General Assembly. [5]
