Education

Nalin Rohantha Abeysooriya is a Sri Lankan lawyer who serves as the president of the Court of Appeal of Sri Lanka. He was appointed by President Anura Kumara Dissanayake and has served since 19 June 2025.[1][2]

Early life

Abeysooriya is an alumnus of Royal College, Colombo, the University of Colombo and Sri Lanka Law College.[3]

Career

Abeysooriya previously served as a Senior Additional Solicitor General with the Attorney General's Department before his appointment to the Court of Appeal.[4][5]
