Naheed Asgar (Bengali: নাহিদ আসগর) is a Major General of the Bangladesh Army. He is the Managing Director of Bangladesh Machine Tools Factory (BMTF).[1][2]
Career
[edit]Naheed Asgar currently serves as the Managing Director (MD) of Bangladesh Machine Tools Factory Limited (BMTF), a significant state-owned enterprise operating under the management of the Bangladesh Army. BMTF is involved in a wide range of industrial activities, producing goods for both military and civilian use, and plays a role in supporting Bangladesh's defense sector and national industry.[3]
Asgar is from the 24th BMA Long Course and belongs to the Army Service Corps. He has held various positions throughout his career in the Bangladesh Army, including Colonel Staff and Research Officer. His expertise includes logistics, military operations, procurement, inventory management, and contract management.[3]
