Lieutenant General Muhammad Naeem Ashraf is a retired officer of the Pakistan Army. He served commander of Heavy Industries Taxila (HIT) and later the strike-formation II Corps in Multan.
Career
[edit]Ashraf was commissioned into the Frontier Force Regiment in 1985 after graduating from the Pakistan Military Academy.[1]
In January 2017, he was appointed as Chairman of Heavy Industries Taxila.[2] That July, he represented HIT in Jordan, meeting King Abdullah II to discuss defence-industrial cooperation.[3]
In September 2018, Ashraf appointed as Corps Commander II Corps, replacing Lieutenant General Abdullah Dogar.[4][5]
Ashraf retired from active service in December 2020.[6]
Awards and decorations
[edit]- Hilal-i-Imtiaz (Military) – conferred 23 March 2018 for meritorious service.[7]
