My Oxford Year is an upcoming American romantic comedy film directed by Iain Morris written by Allison Burnett and Savion Einstein. It stars Sofia Carson, Corey Mylchreest, Dougray Scott, and Catherine McCormack. Based on the book by Julia Whelan.
Premise
[edit]An ambitious American student travels to Oxford in the UK to fulfill her dream, but encounters a charming local who changes both their lives.

Production
[edit]The film is directed by Iain Morris and written by Allison Burnett with a revision by Savion Einstein. Laura Quicksilver and George Berman as producers for Temple Hill Entertainment with film set to be broadcast on streaming service Netflix.[1]
The cast is led by Sofia Carson and Corey Mylchreest.[2] It also includes Dougray Scott, Catherine McCormack, Harry Trevaldwyn, and Hugh Coles.[3]
Principal photography took place in September 2024 in England with filming locations including Oxford and Windsor.[4][5]
Release
[edit]My Oxford Year is scheduled to be released on Netflix on August 1, 2025.[6]
