Education

[edit]

Michele Marco Francesco Vincenti holds a Master of Business Administration from Royal Roads University in Colwood, British Columbia (Canada). He later completed a Ph.D. in Human Organizational Systems at Fielding Graduate University in Santa Barbara, California (USA), where he also earned a master's degree in the same field.

Career

[edit]

Vincenti began his academic career at Royal Roads University, where in 2005 he was appointed Director of Consulting Projects for MBA programs. That same year, he started teaching at University Canada West (UCW) in Vancouver, founded by David Strong. In 2011, he played a key role in facilitating the institution's ownership transition from South Korean entrepreneurs to the education group Global University Systems, founded by Aaron Etingen.

In 2017, he was appointed Head of all MBA programs at UCW. In 2020, he stepped down from the chair position after the university created three distinct academic departments: Quantitative Studies, Marketing and Entrepreneurship, and Leadership and Human Resources. He went on to lead the latter, overseeing approximately 100 faculty members.[7][8]

In February 2025, he was appointed Associate Dean for Graduate Studies at University Canada West, becoming the first person in the university's history to hold this role.[4]

Research and contributions

[edit]

His research interests focus on the intersection of AI, leadership and silence management.[9]

He co-authored the chapter "Redefining Leadership in the Age of AI: Tools, Applications, and Limitations", which explores the appropriateness and practicality of AI in leadership roles.[citation needed] Another contribution is his work on "Enhancing Human Resource Management with Artificial Intelligence: Opportunities, Challenges, and Best Practices", which examines how AI can transform human resource practices. Vincenti's international experience and dedication to fostering innovation and ethical inquiry have made him a respected figure in AI, strategy, and management consulting.[10]

On April 13, 2024, Vincenti hosted the 18th edition of the World Conference of Italian Researchers Abroad at the UCW campus in Vancouver.[11][12] The event was organized in collaboration with the Texas Scientific Italian Community (TSIC) and featured the participation of numerous Italian scholars from around the world.[13][14] In 2025, he was a speaker at the 19th edition of the same conference, held at the European Parliament in Brussels.[15]

In 2004, Vincenti founded Alvana Business Consulting, Inc., an international management consulting firm that offers business solutions to CEOs and managers and support startups in accessing the U.S. OTC equity markets.[16]

In 2024, he was appointed Chief Digital/AI Center Strategic Officer at the U.S.-based company The Rob Rockefeller Standard Carbon LLC.[17]
