Mer Gómez
Mer Gómez (born in Salamanca in 1991) is a writer and intersex activist. She is the author of the book La rebelión de las hienas. Relatos corporales de personas intersex,[1] as well as two plays and a short documentary to make intersexualities visible as part of sexual and gender diversity. Its objective is to focus on intersex life experiences to generate new statements about intersexuality.

[edit]Gómez has a degree in journalism and a doctorate in Feminist and Gender Studies from the University of the Basque Country.[2]
She has written and starred in the monologues for microtheater La revolución de Lola and Solo apto para BICHAS RARAS, as well as the short documentary Se receta silencio,[3] together with Laura Vila Kremer, her partner in the collective "i de Intersex", which they founded in 2020 as a space to raise awareness about intersexualities and body diversity.
She is also a contributor to Pikara Magazine,[4] where she has published articles such as "Soy Lola y soy Intersexual"[5] or "La i está empezando a salir del armario".[6]
In 2022, she published a book with the Bellaterra publishing house called La rebelión de las hienas, which she presents as "an autobiographical journey towards the meeting of intersex references to start a revolution"[7]
