Md. Obaidur Rahman is a Bangladeshi civil servant and secretary of the Ministry of Industries.[1]
Career
[edit]Rahman was the Secretary of the Secondary and Higher Education Division of the Ministry of Education.[2] He was the additional secretary of the Ministry of Public Administration.[3][4]
After the fall of the Sheikh Hasina led Awami League government, Rahman provided promotions to officers he claimed were deprived during the previous administration.[5] He is also the director of the National Human Resource Development Fund.[6][7] In February 2025, he was appointed secretary of the Ministry of Industries.[3]
