Matt Zollers (born July 21, 2006) is an American football quarterback for the Missouri Tigers.[1]
Early life and high school
[edit]Zollers lives in Royersford, Pennsylvania and attends Spring-Ford High School, where he plays basketball and football.[2][3] He passed for 2,052 yards and 23 touchdowns during his sophomore season.[4] As a junior, Zollers passed for a school-record 2,917 yards with 37 touchdowns and two interceptions.[5] Following his junior year, he competed in the Elite 11 quarterback competition and was named a finalist.[6] Zollers was selected to play in the 2025 All-American Bowl.[7] He suffered a broken ankle in the third game of his senior year, ending his season.[8] Zollers passed for 426 yards with one touchdown and three interceptions while also rushing for 221 yards and three touchdowns before the injury.[9]
Zollers is a consensus four-star recruit and the top prospect in Pennsylvania.[10][11] He is ranked as a five-star recruit and the second-best quarterback prospect in the nation by On3.com.[12][13] Zollers committed to play college football at Missouri over offers from Penn State, Pittsburgh, and Georgia.[14][15]
College career
[edit]Zollers joined the Missouri Tigers as an early enrollee in January 2025.[16]
Personal life
[edit]Zollers' older brother, Zach, is a defensive lineman for the Pittsburgh Panthers.[17]
