Masato Kai (甲斐 優斗, Kai Masato, born 25 September 2003) is a Japanese male volleyball player and an Olympian. He plays outside hitter for the Japan men's national volleyball team.
Personal life
[edit]Masato Kai has an older brother, Kotaro Kai, who also plays volleyball.[citation needed]
Career
[edit]In 2022, Japan Volleyball Association (JVA) announced the national men's roster for the upcoming international competition, Kai was selected as one of the outside hitters for the first time.[2]
Later in 2024, Kai was chosen to represent Japan as one of their players for the 2024 Summer Olympics.[3][4][5]
