Mary Entoah

Mary Entoah (born April 27, 2000) is a Ghanaian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder. She has represented both Police Ladies FC in the Ghana Women’s Premier League and the Ghana U‑17 national team ("Black Maidens").[1][2]

Early life

Entoah was born in Ghana and showed early promise as a footballer, playing as a midfielder. She wears the number 11 shirt and has been recognized for her skills in central midfield.[3]

Club career

She is currently permanent player for Police Ladies FC, a club in Ghana’s top-flight Women’s Premier Leagues.[1]

International career

Entoah represented Ghana with the Black Maidens (U‑17) at the 2016 Africa U‑17 Women’s Cup of Nations qualifier. She scored one of the goals in a 4–0 win over Morocco during the first leg in Rabat.[4]

Personal insights

In a 2020 interview, Entoah revealed she almost quit football due to a lack of family support during her youth. She shared:

“I discovered my talent at the age of 8… I had an opportunity to represent Ghana at the FIFA U‑17 Women’s World Cup in 2012 in Azerbaijan, but my parents rejected the offer…”
