Marta Nawrocka (born Marta Smoleń; 7 March 1986)[1] is a Polish civil servant and administrative official who is the wife of Karol Nawrocki, the president-elect of Poland. She will become the First Lady of Poland on 6 August 2025, when her husband will be inaugurated as the President of Poland. She will succeed Agata Kornhauser-Duda, wife of president Andrzej Duda, as First Lady.

Early life

Marta Nawrocka was born on 7 March 1986 in Gdańsk, Poland. She practiced Ballet in her youth, attending the Ogólnokształcąca Szkoła Baletowa im. Janiny Jarzynówny-Sobczak in Gdańsk. She graduated at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Gdańsk.[2]

Career

Nawrocka serves in the National Revenue Administration. Previously, she worked in its Customs Service.[2]

Personal life

Nawrocka met her future husband, Karol Nawrocki, in 2005. The couple married on 22 May 2010.[3]
