Majid Khademi (Persian: مجید خادمی) is a Brigadier General of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, who is serving as the head of the Intelligence Protection Organization of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, since 2022.

Biography

From 2018 to 2022 he served as the head of the Information Protection Organization of the Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces Support, replacing Asghar Mirjafari that year.

His appointment as the head of the Intelligence Protection Organization of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps was first reported by some news outlets in Iran on June 26, 2022. His induction ceremony was held on July 29, 2022. Khademi holds a PhD in National Security and a PhD in Strategic Defense Sciences.

After the establishment of the Intelligence Organization of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, Majid Khademi was referred to as the potential successor to Hossein Taeb, the then head of the Intelligence Organization of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, at least until 2014. He also served as the successor to the IRGC Intelligence Service for a while. He was appointed as the head of the Information Protection Organization of the Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces Support in May 2018. He replaced Asghar Mirjafari that year.

Majid Khademi has appeared in the media sometimes under the name Majid Khademi and sometimes under the name Majid Hosseini. It is not known exactly what his real name is.
