Mairead McIntyre (born 16 December 2008) is an Irish professional footballer who plays for Irish club Sligo Rovers F.C. (women).[1] She is a striker.

Club career

McIntyre made her professional league debut for Sligo against Bohemian F.C. in a nil-nil draw on the eighth of March 2025.[5] And her first cup debut and first ever senior appearance in the FAI Women's Cup round of 16 on the third of August 2024 in a 5–0 win at 15 years old.[4]

International career

McIntyre made her debut for Republic of Ireland U15 on 31 January 2022 in a 3–0 win against Northern Ireland U15.[2]

Youth career

She played for Ballisodare United before moving to Sligo Rovers W.F.C. and eventually got promoted to the senior team she also played and still plays for Gaelic football club Coolera–Strandhill GAA.[6]
