Luke Floriea is an American football wide receiver for the Cleveland Browns of the National Football League (NFL). He previously played college football for the Kent State Golden Flashes.

Early life and high school

Floriea attended Mentor High School located in Mentor, Ohio. During his junior season, he was named an all-Ohio performer in both football and basketball.[1] Coming out of high school he was rated as a three star recruit, where he committed to play college football for the Boston College Eagles.[2] However, Floriea later flipped his commitment to play for the Kent State Golden Flashes.[1]

College career

In his first three seasons with the Golden Flashes from 2020 through 2022, Floriea tallied 17 receptions for 209 yards and a touchdown.[3] During the 2023 season, he played in all 12 games, where he notched 39 receptions for 413 yards and four touchdowns.[4] In week one of the 2024 season, Floriea hauled in six receptions for 104 yards versus Kentucky.[5] In week two, he recorded six catches for 92 yards and a touchdown.[6] He finished the 2024 season, hauling in 44 receptions for 699 yards and seven touchdowns.[7] He finished his Kent State career, hauling in 100 passes for 1,321 yards and 12 touchdowns.[8]

Professional career

After not being selected in the 2025 NFL draft, Floriea signed with the Cleveland Browns as an undrafted free agent.[9]
