Luciano Plazibat (born 23 June 1998) is a Croatian dancer, choreographer and media personality. He rose to prominence after participating in the season 7 of Big Brother Croatia.

Biography

[edit]

Plazibat was born in Split, Croatia, although he has roots in Dugopolje through his father. He lives and works in Zagreb. He attended the Split Maritime School, and as a boy, he performed on Supertalent, the Croatian version of Got Talent, with his dance club.[1] At the age of 19, he applied to take part in the Big Brother season 7, where he remained for 57 days out of a possible hundred. He entered the Big Brother villa as a journalism student who dances as a hobby, which would later become his main profession.[2]

He created content and filmed for the Croatian entertainment platform JoomBoos from 2019 to 2023, and started to collaborate with the former Yugoslav region's leading music names in the meantime. In 2023, he became one of the hosts of the season 11 of Ples sa zvijezdama, the Croatian version of Strictly Come Dancing, where he interviewed the contestants for the show's social media.[3] A year later, in 2024, Plazibat took part in the season 8 of Tvoje lice zvuči poznato, the Croatian version of Your Face Sounds Familiar.[4]

Plazibat became one of the most recognizable faces among the former Yugoslav region's youth thanks to social media and to his collaboration with JoomBoos. He was also the host of seasons 4 and 5 of JoomBoos Videostar, a show in which a new influencer star is found among anonymous contestants.[5] After his collaborations with Dino Merlin, Milica Pavlović, Severina, among other musical artists, he became an established name among the choreographers and dancers throughout the former Yugoslav region.[6][7][8]

As a dancer, he performed alongside Albina at Eurovision Song Contest 2021, where she represented Croatia that year.[9] He is a frequent collaborator of Croatian choreographer Igor Barberić, and the brother of the Croatian kickboxer Antonio Plazibat. Due to traumas from childhood, during which he was the target of bullying because of his physical appearance, Plazibat suffers from body dysmorphia.[1]

In 2025, Plazibat became a contestant of Survivor 2025, the season 6 of Survivor Croatia, as a member of the yellow team,[10] ultimately winning the season. In late May 2025, a video of Plazibat singing Lady Gaga's "Abracadabra" and performing the choreography behind the scenes of Survivor went viral. In a June 2025 interview with Out, he came out as gay.[11]
