Louis Smith is an Australian cricketer. He is a right arm fast bowler. He made his first-class cricket debut for Australia A on 13 July 2025 against Sri Lanka A.[1]
Career
[edit]From Tasmania, he played for University of Tasmania and played club cricket in Darwin, although he missed most of the 2023-24 summer with a knee injury.[2]
He was called-up to the Australia A cricket team in 2025 as a late injury replacement for Jack Nisbet.[3] He made his first-class debut for Australia A against Sri Lanka A in July 2025.[4]
Personal life
[edit]He played for the University of Tasmania alongside his brother Sam, with the pair both scoring centuries in the same day in 2023.[5]
