List of mass stabbings in Belize

This is a list of mass stabbings that have occurred in Belize since the 2000s. Mass stabbings are incidents involving several victims of violence enabled by sharp, pointed, or bladed instruments. This list includes incidents where three or more persons are so harmed in one location at roughly the same time. For this list, perpetrators are not excluded from casualty tallies. Similarly, stabbings in non-public places, and those associated with organised crime, gangs, drug wars, or terrorism are not excluded.[n 1]

11 Nov 2015 Toledo (San Pedro Columbia) 0 3 3 A father and his two sons were injured by machete cuts during an altercation in their residence. Purportedly related to domestic violence or a family feud. [3]
1 Apr 2015 Belize (Belize) 1 2 3 One man was killed, and another man and a 13-year-old injured, by machete cuts during an altercation at their residence on Cut Avenue. Purportedly related to domestic violence or alcohol. [4]
8 Jan 2013 Belize (Belize) 4 0 4 Four men (including a 19-year-old) were killed by knife cuts to their throats in their flats at a residential complex on Dean and Plues Streets. Purportedly gang-related. [n 4]
15 Dec 2012 Belize (Belize) 0 4 4 Four people (including a 16-year-old) were injured by knife cuts and stabs while attending a music concert at BTL Park. Purportedly gang-related. [n 5]
27 Sep 2012 Stann Creek (Hopkins) 1 3 4 A man was killed by machete cuts while on his way home from work. A bit earlier, a mother and her two underage children had been injured by machete cuts while on their way home from a fishing trip to Sittee River. Both stabbings purportedly connected; motive not clear. [5]
3 Jun 2012 Toledo (Punta Gorda) 1 2 3 A father was killed, and his wife and their adult son injured, by machete cuts during a break in at Tropics Inn off Southern Highway. Motive not clear. [n 6]
13 Mar 2011 Corozal (Cristo Rey) 0 3 3 Three people (including an 18- and 17-year-old) were injured by machete cuts during an altercation at a liquor store. Motive not clear. [6]
19 Sep 2010 Orange Walk (San Carlos) 2 1 3 A 16- and 17-year-old were killed, and a man injured, by machete cuts while working at their ranch in the village outskirts. Purportedly drug-related. [7]
28 May 2007 Cayo (San Ignacio) 0 3 3 A man and two women (including two seniors) were injured by machete cuts during an altercation at their residence. Purportedly related to a family feud. [8]
3 Jun 2006 Cayo (Ontario) 3 0 3 Two parents and their 10-month-old daughter were killed by machete cuts in their residence off Western Highway. Motive not clear. [n 7]
