List of Samsunspor head coaches, is a list that includes all the head coaches who have worked at Samsunspor since the club’s entry into professional leagues in 1965. The current manager is Thomas Reis

History

Since joining professional leagues in 1965, Samsunspor has been led by numerous head coaches from both Turkey and abroad. The list covers all contracted head coaches in the club’s history. The club’s first head coach was Celal Torkal, while the first foreign coach was Romanian Nicolae Petrescu, who came during the winter break of the 1977–78 season. The longest-serving coach in the club’s history was Romanian Gheorghe Mulțescu, who managed the team for a total of 4.5 seasons between 1993–1997 and again in 2003. The coach with the shortest tenure, lasting less than a week, was Fahrettin Genç. When considering cup victories, the most successful coach in the club’s history is Kamuran Soykıray, who won two different cups during his tenure. In terms of number of wins, Mulțescu holds the club record with 52 victories in 131 matches, achieving a win percentage of 39.69%. To date, a total of 74 different head coaches from 7 different countries have worked at Samsunspor. After Turkish coaches, the most represented nationalities are Germans and Yugoslavs, each with three coaches. They are followed by Romanians, with two coaches.
