The Langroud River is one of the calmest rivers in Gilan province in northern Iran. Throughout the year, except during very heavy rainfall, this river never shows signs of flooding or fast-flowing water.
Source and Route
[edit]The Langroud River originates from the heights of Siyahkal and Rudbar, particularly from the heights of Delfak (Darfak). After passing through areas such as Deylaman, Siahkal, Lahijan, and Langroud, the river flows towards Chamkhaleh.
Connection to the Sea
[edit]The length of this river is very beautiful, and its beauty peaks in the Chamkhaleh region. The Langroud River connects to the Shalman River one kilometer from the Caspian Sea and subsequently flows into the Caspian Sea.
