Kojatice (Hungarian: Kajáta) is a village and municipality in Prešov District in the Prešov Region of eastern Slovakia.

History

In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1248.[citation needed]

Geography

The municipality lies at an altitude of 346 metres and covers an area of 10.69 km2 (4.13 sq mi) (2020-06-30/-07-01).[4]

Population

It has a population of about 1,150 people (2020-12-31).[5]
