Khan Kandi (Persian: خان كندي, also Romanized as Khān Kandī)[1] is a village in Chahardangeh Rural District, Hurand District, Ahar County, East Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 243, in 45 families.[2] This village is a neural venues for all family member of the 234 people. They are known for their large celebration on the day two after new years day. Because of there culture of mass animal slaughter . [3]
