Kay Adroa

Khezia Adroa Amin (died August 1974) commonly known as Kay Adroa was the second first lady of Idi Amin in 1966[1] who hailed from the same region, West Nile.[1] Idi Amin was Uganda's president from 1971 to 1979.

She was among the first Lugbara women to study at Makerere University.[1]

Personal life

She was the daughter of Reverend Adroa in Arua district.[2] Kay belonged to the Christian religion. Idi Amin divorced her in 1973.[2] On August 13, 1974, she was found dead as a result of an incomplete abortion.[3] However, it was alleged she was murdered by Idi Amin[4] with other alleged killings.[5]
