Kari Myyryläinen (born 22 October 1963) is a Finnish former professional racing cyclist. He won the Finnish national road race title in 1983, 1985 and 1986.[1] He also competed at the 1984 and 1996 Summer Olympics.[2] Myyryläinen is recognized as Finland's first professional cyclist. Throughout his career, he achieved multiple Nordic Championship medals and dozens of Finnish national titles, in addition to his Olympic and World Championship appearances.[3]

Coaching Career
[edit]Since 1997, Myyryläinen has transitioned into a coaching career, focusing on cycling. [4]He has coached numerous Finnish national-level cyclists. He holds professional coaching qualifications, including certification from the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI). Myyryläinen offers personalized online coaching programs for cyclists of various levels, from recreational enthusiasts to competitive athletes aiming for top results. His coaching approach includes initial assessments, tailored training plans updated every two to four weeks, and performance monitoring through the TrainingPeaks software, which he provides to his clients.[3]
