Jamai No. 1 is an Indian Hindi language television series that premiered on 9 December 2024 on Zee TV.[1] Produced by Studio LSD Pvt Ltd.,[2] it stars Abhishek Malik,[3] Papiya Sengupta[4] and Simaran Kaur.[5][6] It is a spiritual sequel of 2014 Zee TV series Jamai Raja.[7]

Plot

The series follows the journey of Neel, a principled man from a traditional upbringing who finds himself in an unexpected role as a "ghar jamai"—living with his wife's affluent and progressive family. At the heart of the story is the tension between Neel and the formidable family matriarch, Kanchan, as clashing values and hidden agendas come to light. As Neel adjusts to his unconventional new life, he uncovers secrets that could change everything.
