Jamison Vashaun Overton (born March 23, 1999) is an American professional basketball player for Brussels Basketball of the BNXT League. He played college basketball for the Saddleback Gauchos, Utah Valley Wolverines and Weber State Wild Cats. After going undrafted, Overton started his professional career abroad in Europe.

Career

High school

Overton began his basketball career at Rancho Bernardo High School in San Diego, where he earned all-league honors across four seasons. He set school records for the most points and free throws in a single game and was named the league's Player of the Year.

College

His college career started at Saddleback College (2017–2019), where he was a two-time First Team All-Orange Empire Conference selection. In the 2018–19 season, he averaged 14.8 points, 6.3 rebounds, 2.9 assists, and 1.2 steals per game. Transferring to Utah Valley University (2019–2021), Overton excelled in his senior year (2020–21), starting all 19 games and averaging 15.6 points, 4.2 rebounds, 2.1 assists, and 1.4 steals, earning All-WAC honors. He concluded his college career at Weber State University (2021–2022), starting all 33 games and averaging 12.4 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 1.4 steals, with a 52.9% field goal percentage.

Professional

After going undrafted in the 2022 NBA Draft, he pursued opportunities abroad. He signed with luxembourgish club Arantia Larochette in the summer of 2022.[1]
