Italianna is an upcoming American romantic comedy film directed by Kat Coiro and written by Ryan Engle. The film stars Halle Bailey and Regé-Jean Page, and the story takes place on Italy's Amalfi Coast.
The film is scheduled to be released in the United States by Universal Pictures on April 10, 2026.
Premise
[edit]The film follows a free-spirited Italian chef (Bailey) and a reserved British lawyer (Page) who embark on a whirlwind romance during a destination wedding in coastal Italy.[1]

Production
[edit]In March 2025, it was announced that Kat Coiro would be directing a romantic comedy film starring Halle Bailey and Regé-Jean Page.[2] Later in June, Marco Calvani and Aziza Scott joined the cast.[3][4] In July, Lorenzo de Moor joined the cast.[5]
Principal photography began in June 2025 on location along Italy's Amalfi Coast.[6][7]
Release
