Ilisan Remo is a town located within Irepodun district in Ikenne Local Government Area of Ogun State, South Western Nigeria.[1] Its ZIP code is 121103.[2]

It is located at a latitude of 6.8932°N and a longitude of 3.7105°E, within the rainforest climatic region of the country. Babcock University is situated in this town.[3] The Yoruba language, specifically the Ijebu dialect, is spoken in Ilisan Remo.

The town is the birthplace of Chief Obafemi Awolowo, the national leader of the Unity Party of Nigeria (UPN), as well as philosopher Professor John Olubi Sodipo, the pioneer vice-chancellor of Ogun State University (now Olabisi Onabanjo University).
