Howdy is an an American subscription video on-demand over-the-top streaming service available in the United States. The service was launched in 2025, and is owned and operated by Roku, Inc.[1][2]
History
[edit]Howdy launched on August 5, 2025, and it is Roku’s first subscription streaming service. Roku already owns The Roku Channel which is a free streaming service. Howdy will be ad-free and will cost $2.99 per month. It will feature around 10,000 hours worth of content. While Howdy TV won’t compete against other existing streaming services, it will include content from Lionsgate, FilmRise and Warner Bros. Discovery.[3][4]
