Hiroshi Negishi (ねぎし ひろし, born June 20, 1960) is a Japanese anime director originated from Studio Cockpit. He was seconded to Toei Animation where he grew as an assistant director before leving the company and going freelance. In 1991, he founded aniimation studio Zero-G Room which he acted as CEO for, and in 1995 became CEO of Radix which was created for copyright management. Radix entered the animation production business, and both companies were combined in 2001. The company was bought by Wedge Holdings in 2005 with its name changed to Radix Ace Entertainment and Negishi joining Wedge Holdings' board of directors. The company was merged with Mobanimation in 2007 to become Radix Mobanimation with Negishi as head but leaving his position at Wedge Holdings. Radix Mobanimation went defunct soon after, and in 2011 Negishi founded Zero-G.[1] In 2014, he founded AIC Project, later renamed to Saber Project in 2016, as a holding company and has continued to expand the group.[2]
