Himansh Verma is an Indian entrepreneur and the founder and chairperson of the Navrattan Group, a business conglomerate based in Mumbai.[1]

Career

Verma began his career in business during his teenage years. He officially founded the Navrattan Group in 2004, a business conglomerate that operates in sectors including green cement, sustainable transportation, renewable energy, and healthcare. He serves as the group’s founder and chair.[1]

In May 2024, Verma announced plans to launch an OTT streaming platform focused on original content in Hindi and Punjabi languages.[2]

In June 2024, an electric bus developed by the Navrattan Group was introduced. Constructed using glass fiber composite materials, the bus was intended for deployment in both urban and rural areas. According to company claims, the model requires less maintenance than conventional buses.[3]

In July 2024, Verma launched Navrattan Music, a record label under the Navrattan Group. The label has released work in collaboration with artists including Mika Singh, Shehnaaz Gill, Karan Aujla, and Parmish Verma.[4]

Also in 2024, Navrattan Green Cement Industries Pvt. Ltd. (NGCIPL) was established under Verma’s leadership with a reported investment of Rs. 500 crore.[5] The company focuses on the development and production of green cement, an alternative material developed to reduce the environmental impact associated with traditional cement manufacturing.[6]

Verma is also involved in social responsibility initiatives through the Navrattan Group, including support for underprivileged communities and projects focused on education and economic empowerment.[7]
